Role: Co-Founder, Art Director, DJ
Retrofit is a DJ and music collective that has hosted events internationally & collaborated with partners such as Flyquest, Caos Mote, and The Whooligan. Retrofit currently has a DJ residency at Sauced in Manhattan.
Christian conceptualized Retrofit’s brand design, leaning heavily on the theme of “The Workforce of the Future”. Christian developed the brand’s visual identity, selecting fonts, colors, and setting the overall tone for the brand guidelines.
Other key responsibilities include shooting and editing all campaign + collab visuals, designing event flyers, curating the Instagram page, utilizing AI programs to create original artwork, and designing all pitch decks. Christian also handles music curation, DJing, and developing vision boards for video shoots.

[02] CRUISE AI Autonomous Driving
Role: Instructional Content Designer
Created training modules, videos, and Google Sites for Artificial Intelligence projects pertaining to the Cruise self-driving car system.
Christian would bridge the gap between Cruise data stakeholders, the Ground Truth Operation team, and off-shore workforces to provide clear and concise content and training for data-collecting projects.

Role: Art Director, Content Designer
Sound Lab is an DJ open-decks event that provides aspiring DJs an opportunity to play music in front of a live audience. The most recent Sound Lab was held in Los Angeles alongside partner Flyquest.
Conceptualized the Sound Lab event structure and successfully pitched and secured a partner. Shot, edited and produced all Sound Lab event marketing including video campaign, event flyers, & social media marketing assets.

[04] STATE OF HIP HOP Docu-Series

Role: Art Director, Interviewer, Videographer, Editor, Animator
Short video docu-series covering global music & youth scenes in East Asia. Conceptualized, shot, and edited the entirety of the series. Also art directed a team of creatives to adhere to a unified brand language in creating additional marketing materials.

[05] PLAYERS LOUNGE E-Sports Betting Platform
Role: Content Designer, Social Media Manager
Created branded graphics for marketing and social media purposes, ideated new content strategies, created new video content and maintained social accounts, stayed up to date with gaming culture pertaining to Players' Lounge, and selected the music that was curated every week for the Players Lounge Spotify playlist.

[06] UNINTERRUPTED / SPRING HILL Sports Media
Role: Content Designer
Collaborated w/ Uninterrupted creative director to design and create visual assets and templates for WRTS : Afterparty and Stewie’s World web series. Specifically designed series logos, title cards, name plates, textured zoom call backgrounds, and overall color + design language.
These series featured Lebron James, Carmelo Anthony, Draymond Green, Breanna Stewart, Kevin Durant, Adam Silver, Doris Burke & others.

Follow up to the State of Hip Hop docu-series which covers music and youth scenes in European countries. Shot, edited, animated, interviewed all artists, and created all marketing materials for the series.

Conceptualized a marketing campaign for Tilted Brim’s Tenderloin product release. Shot, edited, and directed the talent on-set in 3 unique San Francisco locations which accurately captures the gritty and natural landscapes of San Francisco.
